CASHMERE
âGirl, your parents are going to shit a brick when you get home and tell them youâre married. Hell, I want to shit a brick, and I know how it all went down. Oh, my fucking gosh. Your mama is going to kill the both of us, and Iâm too fly to die this early in life. This is the kind of stuff that happens in a movie or a good ass urban fiction book!â Jaliyah exclaimed.
My stomach was in all kinds of knots. I had the slightest idea how I was going to explain any of this to my parents. My anxiety was on one thousand, and I was about to have a full-blown attack. My heart began to pound, and I felt like I couldnât breathe.
âCome on, Cash. Breathe in, breathe out. Relax, sis. Itâs not the worst thing youâve ever done in your life. You know if anything your mama probably going to try to throw a whole party in your honor. All sheâs going to see is grandchildren. Thatâs it, boo. Keep doing your breaths,â Jaliyah coached.
After twenty minutes of breathing and soothing from Jaliyah, I began to feel better. We continued to pack as our vacation had come to an end, and it was time to go back and face reality.
âJaliyah, do you think I did the right thing? I donât know anything about this man. I could request an annulment. We havenât consummated the marriage. How am I going to explain this to everyone?â I began to panic again.
âDamn it, Cash. Youâve got to calm down. Youâre making me anxious acting like this. Itâs going to be fine. You donât have to tell them youâre married. Hell, you can present him as your boyfriend for now.â
âYouâre right. We only have to appear to be married in front of his family. Heâll live in his house; Iâll live in mine. Weâll only see each other as necessary. Everything is going to be alright.â
We were interrupted by a rap on the door. Jaliyah went to answer it, and I continued to pack my clothes. The scent of Baccarat tickled my nose. âWhatâs up, wifey? You need some help packing up?â
âYou probably donât even know how to fold clothes. How are you going to help me?â
Bishop snatched the shirt out of my hand and folded it to prove a point. I didnât say anything as he continued to pack with me. Jaliyah decided for both of us when she told Knight we were getting on the plane with them. She had our tickets refunded and everything. We did a good sweep of the room before heading to the airstrip to go home.
âOh my gosh, I canât believe we have to go back home,â I complained as we boarded their private plane. I had never flown private, but I could get used to traveling like this. The inside of the planeâs color scheme was light gray and black. It had a grown and sexy type of feel. There
